That actually sounds quite reasonable, and exactly why I'm not having flowers!

Sounds about right to me, if not a bit under what I would expect for all of that.

The only flowers we are having are my bouquet, 4 bms, 2 thank you bouquets, 8 button holes and a couple of pedestals. This is just over £300.

I knew I wouldn't be having flower centrepieces from the outset as we have 17 tables.

So pleased I'm just buying mine direct from the flower markets, and have alot of skilled/talent flower arrangers in the family.

I don't think I relised how much they cost!!! It seems a lot to me...ouch!

have you considered artificial?! i know some people are horified by the thought, especially if you are a floweres fan but they work out so much cheaper and if you get good quality, no one will know they are artificial!

or would you consider perhaps giving your b.maids a wrist corsage to reduce costs?

Try and stick to flowers that are in season and I would consider single flowers or wrist corsages for your bridesmaids.

We got married near Royston but we used a florist based in Cheshunt who I can highly recommend -

    www.flowersbyamandajane.co.uk

Their prices are very competitive and they had great ideas for our wedding. We had the following -

1 bridal bouquet (hand tied roses)

4 bridesmaid bouquets (hand tied roses)

    15 button holes (roses)

6 pew ends (roses and organza)

1 table arrangement (a tightly packed rectangular vase of roses)

2 thank you bouquets (seasonal flowers)

Total was approx £320 including delivery and set up.

Good luck with your search x

I had a quote for around £1000 when I included birdcages. As they have to hire them this adds to the cost.

I am now going for centrepieces without the birdcages and looking to pay around £600. I have opted for a birdcage theme wedding cake to still keep with my theme. Smiley smile

For what you've listed think you've an ok deal.

We're using the ones recommended by our venue- they are providing the centre pieces as part of our package so additional one we need to pay for are my bouquet, BM bouquet, top table/registrar table flowers, 2 pedestals for the barn where ceremony will take place which will then be moved into reception room and 8 buttonholes plus flowers for hair will all come to around £500 or so
