Hi, I am having one large bouquet, 3 buttonholes and a wrist corsage. I have been given a max of £125 for these. I am having Cala lilies and the florist can't give me any indication of price per flower as the fluctuate so much. £125 is the max I would pay (even if it is more, the florist will take the hit)

    hope that helps?!

We are having a LOT of flowers at our ceremony and reception, plus bouquets and buttonholes for the wedding party. It's costing us around £1000.....which I know sounds ridiculous! But I adore flowers and we intend on distributing the flowers to guests the next day. I know it will look beautiful so worth it Smiley smile

I think we'll be spending £870 on flowers.

Thats one bridal bouquet, two BM bouquets, 7 buttonholes, nine table centres and some bird cages filled with flowers to decorate the bar area and give as gifts.

I've put a budget of £300 for my flowers but I don't know how far on or off this is... I have no idea about flowers. I'm looking at getting silk anyway so I can keep mine and OHs and if anyone else wants to keep theirs they can if not I can sell them on Smiley smile

We have been quoted £65 for my bouquet, £55 for bridesmaids, £5 buttonholes, £80 per table display and we a having a entrance display at £200. This may go up or down a little depending on what flowers we chose.

As a rule reception flowers for your centrepieces etc are your responsibility x

With fresh flowers, a lot depends on which flowers you would like. Luxury blooms such as orchids, certain varieties of roses, lilies, peonies and lily of the valley can be quite expensive. If you go for a mix of seasonal flowers, this will make your budget stretch further. It's always a good idea to go with an approximate amount in your head that you wouldn't like to go over so your florist has something to work on. If you want some ideas of the different styles and roughly how much these are, I have prices on my website although all mine are artificial but they will give you a rough ball park figure as there isn't a great deal of difference in cost between fresh and artificial these days. Hope that helps.

The flowers I have calculated up come to around 350-400 pounds mark, that's literally just adding up the amounts from one of our selected potential florists of flowers we would like x
