Flower girls

LauraJaneRush, 7 November, 2009 at 12:20 Posted on Planning 0 7

Hello,

I have been searching the internet and have no ideas!

I have 3 adult bridesmaids and 3 little ones-aged 6, 4 and 2. My sister and I are going to buy roses from a wholesalers and create our own bouquets. The question is what do I give my flower girls? I don't think I want them to have a bouquet but I can't think of anything else! I'm not sure if my venue will let them drop petals but I could ask. I am trying to keep the price down as much as possible.

Any ideas would be gratefully appreciated!

Thanks everyone xxx

My daughter will be 2 when we get married - far too little for flowers, she would either shred them or eat them ?.

For her we are going for a little satin bag which will have in it some little treats (raisins, her little pepper pig toy - just a few tiny bits) to keep her amused during the ceremony. I was advised to give her something to keep her happy as she's so young!

My two little bm's (2 & 3) are having flower wands using the 3 flowers i will have in my bouquet, basicly very similar to H2B's buttonhole but on a wand!!

My sister CBM is having a wrist corsage elongated and attatching around her index finger.

Baskets of petals is quite traditional and cheap- or just a single rose with some nice ribbon tied round it?

I'm having my two nieces who will be 4 & 5 and I think the Wand Idea is perfect! They would absolutely love that and we could use silk flowers instead of real ones, so they can use them over and over!! I've already picked the flowers I want, for myself and my bridesmaids just need to take the pictures to my florist for a quote!! ? xx
