Flower vases - Any Ideas?

clareharding, 3 April, 2009 at 16:37 Posted on Planning 0 13

Any ideas where to get vases from?

I am looking for 12 (maybe 14) for table decorations. Budget is tight so don't want to pay much and only need to be large enough for a couple of stems.

Thank you.

    Have you tried IKEA?

My sister in law got her vases from there - in fact I think they were just tall glasses which we sprayed gold patterns onto.

    Def Ikea!

    I've found these:

    https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/00017133/

Dirt cheap, planning on spraying them, adding a bow and filling with tonnes of flowers.

Asda living have some lovely ones for £1 at the minute - the glass is lovely and thick too and they are handmade.

sorry i can't find a picture of the actual one ..but they're similar to these but taller and slighty slimmer

Ikea do have a wide range of vases and sometimes Marks and Sepncer do have a few in their value range.

I'm voting for ikea as well. We went last weekend and found the perfect ones. They weren't on the website, so go and have a look round as they have more than online.

I'd really suggest having a lil look in your local supermarket.....Morrisons and Asda often have very cheap but really nice flower vases in their homeware sections I've often considered getting vases for the wedding there but they're all too small for what I'm after

For example these are £3.40 each from asda and 28cm tall

    Simple but cute i think!

    Hope that helps anyways x
