Flowers - pink orchids?? tie-in with my invites

TheDitzyOne, 23 July, 2011 at 15:12 Posted on Planning 0 5

My colour scheme is very pale pink and green (think antiquey/vintage/garden party) and I was having pink roses and the very pale green edges-roses. However I'm struggling to get these to fit with my invites.

I am aiming for this as my finished effort
although not with the tapered finish at the bottom. I like the idea of having the RSVP card and information sheet attached together, so people cant say they havent had part of the info they need.

I've found the following bits, what do you think? Bit of a flash, in order, front, insert 1, insert 2, back cover (although inserts could be repeated twice depending on the amount of info needed to supply)

OK, so obviously change my flowers to orchids (LOL). Im looking at it and something doesnt seem right. The middle inserts are like a background image, so your text would go over the top. But still....... doesnt look right.

What would you do?

Thanks in advance

xx

Just realised.....do you mean the picture of the orchid is your page and you are going to print the info ontop of it?

Thats it yeah, so the silver patterned page would be the front of the invite, followed by a page with the pink orchid as a background with text printed on top, then the same with the green, follwed by the silver patterned back of the invite

Are you asking us if the orchid pictures for the invites will go with your roses for the wedding?

You could use a generic rose background, tinted in different colours to match?

I love Mrs C's ideas, the pics are diferent but still go together.

personally I don't think the 2 orchid pics you've chosen go together very well....sorry.
