    Aye aye cap'n.

Wine (first time in ages - trying not to drink just for the sake of it), early to bed, and attempting to be more cheerful than last night, when I was a miserable, sullen drama queen. I'm going for the 'glass half full' tonight. I hope.

    ? As ever.

H is waiting for a phone call (due any minute) from a chap at Sydney University about a potential job (eeeeek!) so I shall be banished to the kitchen to make dinner so I can't be heard in the background making inappropriate remarks like "how much is the salary?" and "is the Uni near the beach?" etc ...

Gordon Ramsay at 9pm for me and then Lemsip and bed. Gosh, it's a glamorous in the Hammock household!

I'm here, sky dish is buggered as we're not getting any signal and won't till the wind dies down and peeps complain to the council to get it re-aligned. So I'm going to stick some music on (not sure what yet) and do some baking....

Will be going to bed soon-ish though. Had an awful day/week so don't want to stay up too long and "enjoy" it

Pmsl at CBH - they are exactly the kind of questions i ask when MrF goes for new jobs ?

i'm half an FND, as we have already been out for indian with friends. i am now nicely full and sitting here hitching with a glass of wine before gordon at 9pm. and MrF is on sole bedtime duty for the fist time this week. bliss.

I'm here too. No wine for me after loads the last two nights. Feeling very miserable though and have eaten more than my body weight in chilli and mini-eggs today. So also feeling very sick. Hope you are all having good nights. I too am going to be watching Gordon and Wossy.

When I've finished drafting my dratted agreement - the partner informed me this morning that he wants it to go out to the client over the weekend, so I have been slaving all day to draft it from scratch to get it out to him tonight. Inevitably he will call me tomorrow to discuss it when I am either at the hairdressers or wedding dress shopping for my friend, grrr!

Should stop moaning though - in this climate I am not begrudging it as much as I would normally.

Well done Lalu drafting from scratch is blooming hard work especially given a short time scale. My boss has spent the past 2 days working on a skeleton argument that had to be filed by close of business today. She's done the whole thing from scratch and told me this morning that she was working on it until 11.45 p.m last night and then back up at 5.30 this morning to carry on. I managed to get it over to the Court at 5.00 dead this afternoon so it was that close run a thing but the important thing is we've compiled with the Court Directions so that's got to help carry some favour.

Hope you have a lovely weekend off and get some down time too.

CBH - how did the telephone interview go? Did he ask the most important questions such as where the beach is? Hope it went well.

Lalu - hope you are all finished now and off home for a well deserved glass of wine

Thanks everyone for your kind words! I've just booked my cab home, so hopefully I will be enjoying some freshly made popcorn and a glass of wine soon ?

Did I miss anything on JR that I should trouble iPlayer for?
