Your wedding will be recognised in the UK. I don't think you need to do anything when you get back. You'll need copies of your marriage cert for things like changing your name on things and for your records. There'll be a charge for getting duplicates, but your co-ordinator at the chapel you choose will be able to arrange that for you and let you know what's what.

The co-ordinators and other vendors in Vegas are generally very helpful and knowledgeable. Our wedding co-ordinator, the catering manager at the reception venue and our photographer have all offered to help us out in ways that go beyond their job descriptions.

Have you picked your venue yet?

Erm yeah I think we're gonna do it at the Little Chapel of Flowers. We're trying to keep costs down as it's kinda last minute and we haven't really saved up much. We're also only having 2 guests (our best friends, also a couple) so we obviously don't need a big space. I've only looked at the website of the place tho, have you ever seen it?

I haven't been there, but have heard good reviews of it. The photos on the website are great. Looks like a pretty good location.

We only saw one non-hotel chapel and that was the Little Church of the West. Really pretty, but too small for the amount of guests we're having.

Oh that's really good, you always worry when you can't actually see the place in the flesh.
