After the rather long threads the other day about the larger brides/grooms and the slim brides/grooms etc, i thought it might be interesting to see and understand what it's like for people at each end of the height scale. I'm 5ft 10, and the boots i'm wearing for my wedding will make me around 6ft tall. For the making of my dress they're having to allow a little bit extra fabric in the length to cater for my height.

I just wondered how other people are getting on?

Are taller brides leaving out the heels they wanted for fear of being too tall?

The more petite brides, are you struggling to find heels to bring you to the height you want?

Just curious really xx

Looking through pics on FB the other day I noticed that I always slouch and I didnt understand why! then it clicked, my friends are around 5ft4/5/ and Im 5ft8 which isnt massive by any means but I wasnt even aware that I slouched lol! My partner is almost 6ft so I dont want my heels to be any more than 3" but it suits me as I've never been one for heels, comfort is far more my thing.

That's ok - the main reason why I want us to be the same height (if possible) is because when we stand facing each other our eyes are the same level and I want it to be that way when we say our vows.

That's a lovely reason to be the same height Smiley smile

Lynnie Peeps, I guess that is one drawback to being shorter, being a pint stand!
