Food for getting ready!

Annaangeluk2016, 6 November, 2016 at 15:01 Posted on Planning 0 3

Hi!

I'm just getting final lists together as wedding is now less than a week and just realised I've got no plan for what food to buy for in the hotel! I'm staying in the hotel with my daughter the night before the wedding and we'll be going out for dinner but will need to eat the next day! we have a luxury apartment so it has fridge, full cooking facilities etc. The wedding is at 2.15. We'll want something easy while we get ready that doesn't involve cooking etc and definitely nothing smelly!!

Thanks!

Anna xx

We are doing a continental breakfast buffet thing - pastries, breads, cereals, fruit. Easy to eat, no mess and we can pick and bits during the morning if we are hungry. And it's all getting cleared away before the dresses come out!

    Hi Anna,

I'd probably go for something like croissants and fruit. You might well find you're too nervous to eat properly, so something high energy/calorie like pastry is probably a good shout.

If you want something more substantial perhaps pop to M+S the night before and get some little cold tapas bits and sandwiches then have a mini buffet?
