Food Tasting Tommorow!!

Chez2k, 12 July, 2010 at 10:08 Posted on Planning 0 8

We have got our food tasting tommorow. Looking forward to getting the menu all sorted and having another thing ticked off the list!

I am getting a bit twitchy now. The wedding is getting closer and closer and I am starting to get really nervous.

Feel like I have forgotten loads of things that I need to organise. Don't know if this is true - probably just panicking!

Let us know how the food tasting goes.

You are probably just nervous about the day going smoothly, write a list and keep adding things to it and hoepfully you will pick everything up. I think there is a to do list on hitched that might help

Ooh yum, that will be fun.

I agree, write a list and add to it when you remember things, so you have it all down on paper. I have been using Excel and have lots of lists in spreadsheets, it's invaluable.

Try not to worry about things, and enjoy the lovely food, and don't forget to report back Smiley smile x

I will report back. Looking forward to it. My mum, dad and the best man are coming along too!! We get to try 3 of eat course, and the hotel said to bring some people with us as there will be too much food for just the 2 of us. Thought it was a good way to get them involved as well.

I have got a list of things that I still need to do. But just worried that I have missed something off the to do list!!! I probably haven't - just me stressing!!

    Hello Chez2K

    Planning whats that then?

Welll taking my sister to see dress on the 7th of Aug so we can think about accessories. Food tasting meeting with reception venue and meeting with vicar all booked last weekend of July!

my to do list is endless, Send evening invites, do table plan find hair and make up people buy gifts for wedding party choose music

This is why I need to make a list this week.

How is your planning going apart from the panicing?

    ?

Sounds like you will be getting a lot of stuff sorted at the end of this month. A lot of my bits have to be confirmed next month.

Did you get your flowers sorted? I think last time I spoke to you you were meeting florists?

    My planning is going ok.

A lot of confirming now to do.

I need to sort out suits still after a mess about with the last company I tried to use.

Flowers ordered. Bridesmaids dresses ordered after I changed my mind on the first ones!

Then things like table plan to sort, gifts to buy, hair and make up to decide on, and few other bits.

Ahhh yes flowers are all sorted I love my florist, we are slightly over budget with them but our overall budget has wiggle room built in so its ok.

you seem far more organised than me. I shall be doing panic planning in September!
