for those that have used vistaprint..

What is the quality like of the invitations?

At the minute i'm just getting Save The Date ones from there, what is the matt finish like? or would you reccomend going for the other option?

I seen after, with added extras that you can have magnets too, is there anyway you could just have magnets?

Thanks in advance =)

You can get just magnets yes. I got my STDs from vistaprint and they're really good quality. We got matt finish postcards, which are still a bit shiny but not a lot. We used our own uploaded image and it came out really well

You can have just magnets if that's what you want, just start a new order Smiley smile The quality of the invites is ok... I ordered save the date postcards from them (with a shiny finish) and they were just like normal postcards. I also ordered a small batch of invitations from them in linen finish to check the quality, they are a bit 'floppy' but you get what you pay for I guess... I really have my heart set on square invites which they don't do so I won't be getting my invites from them afterall

I think you can just order magnets, yes. (although don't quote me on this!)

We ordered our invites for our 'reception' (3 months after our wedding) from here and were pleased with the quality. They were just single 'flyer' style ones though, rather than gate-fold(?) or anything complicated. The texture of the matt finish is a bit like the inside of a greeting card, if that helps you any.

I got my postcard style STDs from Vista in the matte finish, I was pleasantly impressed by the quality - card was much thicker than I thought would be!

Pretty sure you can order magnets on their own but it can sometimes be a little fiddly trying to find the product you want to order on the website!

Just ordered the postcard style in matt finish, i gave up looking for magnets lol..

With me not needing them anytime soon and using the slow postage i'm very impressed with the price =)

Yeah, have to say that I was impressed with it all.................right up until it came to the postage. I couldn't believe how expensive it was for such a small order. Unfortunately, we couldn't afford the time to wait for the slow delivery, so ended up having to pay through the nose for it. Still, it'll teach me to be more organised in future!?

    Hi

I've heard a few stories that brides aren't able to actually write on the invites from there (not sure which finish they used though so not much help there).

If you want to write on them (guests names etc) then get a sample first.

Some of the invites you can't write on them, no, but you don't necessarily need to write on them?

No. Absolutely but if you were looking at adding the guest names to them, the brides I have spoken to said this is not possible.

I don't know much about VP as I have never used them so don't know what they offer really. If you were having postcard styles or something where you would need to add the guest name then this may cause issues.

We got all our STD's from Vista (magnets/postcards) and the quality is excellent. Have since got loads of freebies (tshirts/mugs/tote bags) for my BM's. Postage is reasonable as long as you can wait for the "slow" option. However I've always got things quite quickly from them.
