Foreign Websites for Bridesmaids Dresses

I've been looking at bridesmaids dresses and they appear so damn expensive. Its like they add 0's on the end as soon as you mention the word bridesmaid! I've seen the dress I want (Alfred Angelo 6471) on two websites at much cheaper prices than uk shops.

I was wondering if anyone has bought a dress from china or from the two companies (Dream Bridal and Queen is a Girl) as a cheaper alternative?

My only other option is to buy them in the UK and do more bank shifts to pay for them as i have my heart set on having this dress!

    There was a bride on here recently who bought her wedding dress from china and was really pleased with it. However, if I'm honest this is the first case of it's kind. All the others have been bad experiences!

    My sister bought a mermaid dress from a big retailer store- dhgate.com. she likes it very much and tell me that the services are very good there.

    I am planning to get my BM dresses ( as there are 5 of them and we are on a budget!) from a Chinese site ( Light in the Box). One of my bridesmaids was going to a red carpet event this week and ordered a dress from this site ( as a bit of a test-run) and it was really good quality. It needed to be altered slightly, but we expected that anyway. I feel quite confident about ordering my dresses from there now. Hope this helps.
