Found my processional music! Finally! 5 weeks to go - ARRRGGHHH!

hannah9000, 4 May, 2013 at 18:02 Posted on Planning 0 5

Hoorah!! After many changes of minds and unsure moments, this is definitely my processional music, I know this as it made me cry. The song has other connections to it for me, my mum and my sisters so it's perfect Smiley smile

Here

Then we're walking out to Signed, Sealed, Delivered!

    Brill choice! :0)

I've also chosen a film soundtrack for the processional as it means something to our family (not that Dad or I will hear it much, as once the mums and Bms are in, it will change for my entrance!)

We are also having signed, Sealed delivered eek!!

Well, I say that..... Our visit from the vicar to discuss OOS has been put back again until 15th May, leaving just 4.5 weeks to get organised and printed! I do hope she is ok with it all....

Thankfully ours is a civil ceremony so we don't need to be too careful with our music. I was so so pleased to find this one though! You won't be far behind me by the looks of it!!

35 days to go for us! We're in the midst of finalising bits, we have our final meeting at our venue on 21st May to hand in food choices and table plans etc. We'll get to choose the way we want our napkins folded too! Haha!

My dress is being steamed/pressed, the bridesmaids dresses are hung upstairs, I have about 50 tissue pom poms to make and 69 bags of personalised M&M's to bag up for favours Smiley smileoh and sorting music today!

I certainly feel more prepared than I was two weeks ago, I think we've stepped up a gear now!

How are you getting on? Do you feel panicky about anything?

You certainly sound on top of it all!

As for panicked... Not really, but then again I've had a busy few weeks with other things and will be otherwise occupied for another week yet, so I guess that's when the realisation will hit as to how much I still have to do. I need to meet with the TOG, caterer, bar folk, icecreams man, marquee people, dj, band, vicar and car people to organise details. Then it's making sure guest numbers and table plans are sorted, make sure everyone's outfits are complete, hope that all my flowers grow in time AND practice making bouquets and buttonholes holes. Oh yeah, make responsibilities lists for everyone, print OOS, make up kids goody bags and adult favour boxes, pompoms....what else? Ooo get OHs ring engraved! Make sure everyone has accommodation sorted, book taxis, make list upon list (I'm a bit of an obsessive!) draw up schedules for the days before, wedding day and following day..... And pay out obscene amounts of money lol!

    Hmmmm....... not much then haha!!

Signed Sealed Delivered... fab choice, such a knowing wink to it! The piano player I've hired, Simon Jordan, has a list of music people have chosen on his website, if it helps. He plays what people choose so there's a variety of music there which was an inspiration to me when I choose. The website is www.pianistwedding.co.uk. All the best and good luck with your day hun!
