I am a recent convert to MAC foundation - my makeup artist used it on my wedding day and it stayed on all day. I've since bought some and have found it stays on, as do their other products.

My friend who is really into makeup swears by estee lauder double wear but i've always thought it was a bit too heavy but they've brought a new version out double wear light. She's told me I have to wear it for my wedding cos its fantastic.

Another fan of chanel ! Im using it for my wedding sat, I did a trial run at the wkend and it stayed on all day -its chanel lumiere -and it actually does have a bit of a glow to it.

I use Smashbox primer as a base too which is good.

Both MAC and Clinique are very good foundations that will stay all day. However if you use a primer under your foundation then that will ensure your makeup stays on all day. If you have oily skin the YSL Matt Touch is very good and if you have either combination or dry skin then Laura Mercier do two very good primers.

I always use Virgin Vie's Perfect Balance topped with their Finishing Powder on brides. I always get told that it lasts all day and doesn't go shiny.

Another vote for Estee Lauder Double Day wear - although I also use their Resiliance Lift foundation which is great for older skin!

I disagree with Clinique as mine looks rubbish by the end of the day. I do love the 3 step stuff but going off their foundation. I don't use a primer but do use the blended face powder but it doesn't make it stay on longer.

Chanel for me too. It is so light as well.

The Chanel Vitalumière is around £28.00
