Future in laws

She is jealous and attention seeking. dont let her spoil you planning or excitement for the big day! just ignore her and with any luck she will either get a goddam grip or shrivel up and disappear!!!

To be honest i think the minute you announce that you are getting married in various people a switch is turned on in their brain and they automatically become bitchy, its happened with my sister, she was there when my h2b proposed on christmas day and since then its been " it should be me "

its got that bad that, after choosing my wedding dress from a choice of two shes now saying shes going to get the original plainer dress to wear herself at MY wedding,

on the upside i have met my future in laws once and they live far away, my h2b has a brother who he isnt inviting because his brother always causes arguments, his mums not happy but its our day,

dear me i meant to give you advice and had a mini rant of my own,

i would say chat to her, but if there has been such a turn in her attitude i would say it would not make any difference and she would deny all knowledge,

Thanks girls ..... i think it is jealousy ...she even got very upset about us asking the best man (who is her sisters husband) to wear a suit the same as the rest of the groomsmen .... she said i was manipulating him !!! the best man was outraged when we told him ! she seems adement on putting a spanner in the works !

She may be jealous! Is she married? If she is maybe she feels you're getting a bigger fuss than she did!!

As soon an "in Laws" are mentioned i think it flicks a switch!! lol
