I am so excited it should be illegal! My H (who doesn't like watching T.V) is away on business for most of the week, so i will watching GOT back to back all week. I am stocking up today on chocolate and wine to make it an even more pleasurable experience.

Eep! When is 4 due out on TV?

Soon I think, but I am not exactly sure as I don't have Sky, that is why I am so excited about the DVD release. Will be my first glimpse of series 3.

I have a terrible long term memory and always have to do this anyway, especially with something like asoiaf where there are so many twists and turn and different places and characters to remember. Rereading it though you pick up on so much that didn't mean anything first time around which, thanks to subsequent events, takes on a new importance if you know what I mean so I don't really mind having to re read. Also, I figure at least this time I can watch the T.V shows up till season 4 and then just read the books that follow on from that....
