Garden Lawn Sign??

Mrs-HFA, 11 May, 2012 at 18:20 Posted on Planning 0 10

Hello,

I was at a wedding reception yesterday and this sign greeted us at the reception of the hotel. I wondered if any of you knowledgable ladies would know where I could source something similar?

The Bride and Groom are jetting off on their honeymoon tomorrow so won't be around for me to ask them for the time being.

Ive seen the individual planks of wood on ebay, you could order a few and nail them to the poles yourself xx

They're actually pretty easy to make yourself using wood from old pallets (I made individual ones for my wedding and for the garden). If you google " handmade wooden signs" or "vintage signs" you'll find loads of tutorials. Otherwise notonthehighstreet.com do similar stuff as well I think.

We got one more or less the same from ebay, not sure of the seller, if you type in shabby chic wedding signs they come up.

    Hi,

A lovely little company called Love Letters make individual signs to order. I've had some made and they are wonderful!

Wow! what a fab idea. My OH would be able to make one of those (well OK we don't need one lol, but as he has made the guinea pig run and "made" a shed I'm sure that wouldn't be an issue either. Maybe I should rent him out? lol

I bought the exact sign in the OP from eBay after I saw this post!

Like VP said they are on eBay and do indeed come up if you search shabby chic sign.
