Wow-ee there are some gorgeous choices out there! the 80's foof is long gone (i remember wondering why my aunt was sticking a tudor ruff around her leg at her '88 wedding lol). just really beautiful garters here girls!

Some lovely hitchers bought me mine- I would have totally forgotten otherwise.I did spend all day hooking it up mind you.

My garters arrived today and they look just as good in the flesh! I love them not sure if I'll wear both on the day though will see how it looks and feels!

I love the look of garters but find them impractical (unlike mini ill forget to hoyk it up and itll end up round my ankles lol) and with my dress it would be very obvious and probably look abit tart-y

like the one above though lol, might see it I can get a cute novelty one for the after party (when people will be drinking a class will probably of flew out the window lol)

The one I am looking at says it comes with some kind of double sided tape to keep it in place, I don't know if that is the norm?

My Grandma passed away 3 years ago and she had saved her garter from her and my grandads wedding 57 years ago. Its a pink satin garter. The year me and OH got engaged my grandad gave it to me as a new years present. Unfortunately she was quite a lot thinner than I am and I dont know if I'll fit it on! It is beautiful but Im too scared to try it on!!!

I got it from a shop called Moonshine Belle on Esty. Was about £25 but so worth it. It's pretty good quality and came quickly.
