What difference does it make to a photographer wether it's a straight or gay wedding.?

It always helps to let people know where you are!

How bloody rude! Are they still using box cameras and gun powder flash as well?!

Let us know what part of the country the wedding is in and I'm sure we can find you a photographer (there are loads on the Hitched boards.P

Oh and I think you should name and shame the two photographers.

It is dam stupid in this day and age but I know of one photogrpaher who tunred down 2 gay weddings - this was on hi religious beliefs, and also on the fact that he knew he would not be comfortable working with them on the day, he did tell them this and they where fine with his honesty- but he did help them find a suitable photographer.

I don't know why this is a problem for some photographers, we are shooting at least one gay wedding this year.

Again it would help to know where the couple are based so we can point you in the right direction. We are based in Cheshire.

I don't care whether they are straight, gay, bi-sexual, transgendered, transexual, or hemphrodites. They can be White, Black, Brown, Red or purple with Green spots, but I absolutely refuse to do a ginger couple! ? (just kidding, love red heads)

Seriously though, as long as the moneys green I'll do anyone, but then I am a self confessed photo whore.

That said, if a photographer doesn't want to do work with a certain group because of his or her beliefs then it is their right not to. It doesnt' make sense business wise to me, but hey, that's the beauty of working in a relatively free country, we don't have to justify ourselves and we can all make those decisions for ourselves.

That is absolutely outrageous!

I cover weddings (whomever is getting married) all over the country and would love it if you threw my name in the mix. As I have shot fashion and commercial for a long time as well as weddings I like to raise the bar and shoot things with a bit more scale and ambition than alot of the more traditional photographers.
