Haven't seen one of these for a while. Pours another glass of wine and settles in for the night.

Did anyone else notice the word 'shuff'? I think it was meant to be shove....

Anyway, nice to see people getting so het up. It's not as if we'd all turn up en masse to a wedding and stand there slagging off how matchy-matchy it was. Or the sweet buffet. Love them or not, we'd be too busy at the bar to notice.... No?

People got so ruffled over nothing really. I was going to post but think it had all been said already.

I have put a few posts in there.

I think it is overly personal and rude toward a couple of our regulars- what is the need?

You do know the people to who you're smugly referring can read this too?

    just checking.

nice to see our 'professional' HIBs getting in on the self congratulatory action too. Sure that'll do wonders for business..!

Some people are so rude, launching attacks against others for giving their opinion on general ideas. No need at all. It was all a bit of fun. My wedding was certainly in there and I didn't see the need to throw a stop.

It's been so fun to read, really. OH and I have been reading through it in bed, and he's amazed that there are people on internet forums who think that no one should be allowed to be rude, that they should always be constructive...

Pardon, was that supposed to refer to me?

If so i've not been near that thread at all since the first couple of pages and I've not even commented on it.

I only posted on here to say i'd been away watching TV and came back to the thread having taken a turn for the worst.

I'll keep my beak closed in future....️?️

I'm actually quite sad/disgusted by some responses tonight over general opinions. I thought it was a fab thread.

I haven't responded on it but have been following it. It's seems some posters get all ruffled by people being 'rude' about things that have been mentioned and then to prove their point are genuinely rude themselves. But I suppose that's ok. And it's also ok to slag off any OM's for being 'bitter' or unhelpful but not ok to express a dislike for certain elements at a wedding. On a wedding planning forum. About weddings.

Im glad I'm not in WP anymore. Does that make me smug? Probably. Never mind. I've half a mind to post a reply saying 'oh for fucks sake get over yourselves' but I suppose that's rude?!

Mini you should be ashamed of yourself haha! How dare you start a thread about weddings on WP?! Just who do you think you are!!!? Hahaha!

My favourite part was the use of the word 'bint' - haha not heard that for years... Probably since I was 15 actually.

I know this is only indirectly related to the thread linked, but can I just say that I wish people who want to flounce would just flounce? And not announce they're flouncing and then turn around and say they're not? If you're that upset, surely you'd just bugger off and not bother making a post about it?

    Same here Atb!

I'm a little outraged that someone has tried to say mini has only started it because of not being happy with her own naff wedding tho. Actually very outraged, that's a wee but personal no?
