Getting crafty

kizzi10000, 29 September, 2014 at 18:05 Posted on Planning 0 7

Having dragged OH into Hobbycraft yesterday (he had palpitations at actually being faced with the reality of a wedding to plan for, bless him), I popped into town today and mooched about after my eye test by myself.

I now have some stamps (letters and pictures), ink, punches, paper, fancy scissors (10 pairs for a fiver - half price in Hobbycraft), and some fabric to make a heart shaped wreath. Getting quite excited about cutting and sticking now. Good job I have nearly 2 years, will probably change my mind several times, then get fed up and refuse to make any more invites lol.

Will flash samples when I've put a few ideas together to see what looks best

I splurged in Hobbycraft too yesterday. Could have spent all day in the place! Had the day off so couldn't resist doing a few trials. Aside from a our house bunny's determination to eat the tissue paper, it was a lot f fun.

    Happy crafting!

Happy carfting to you too Smiley smile. I usually try hard not to go in the wretched place - it's full of far too many far too expensive goodies!

I will be looking forward to the flashes!!

I love crafting and do it on the side to my full-time job .. it can be stressful even though it isn't a firm commitment of mine .. makes me worry about when I decide I want to do as much DIY as possible for the wedding ...

    Good luck!!

@Catshoes I've made my own bridal belt and it cost me just £22! I've attached some images. It was so much fun making it. Good luck!
