Getting it off your chest post - feel free to join me.

Ofsted have decided to vist my school which means the last 2 days I've been working loads at home to get things sorted, Mr B has said he'd help but hasn't. He has also said he'd do some stuff in the house for me (like empty the dishwasher) but watched a film instead so I had to do it as his dad had said he'd be coming round when we were at work to cut some of our tree off so I had to make sure all the dinner stuff was cleared up for the next day (when in reality I'd have left them until the next day so I could get my work done at a normal hour), anyway so far his dad hasn't come and I wish he'd not say stuff like that and then not do it especially when I have work to do which needs to take prioriy at the moment.

Also I'm possibley going to be assessed by Ofsted tomorrow morning doing a phonics session with my year 3 kids (I'm a TA) I know I don't need to have any planning for it but I'm such a girly swat that I'm sat here planning a whole phonemes worth of sessions because I want them to say I'm good as I really want to be a teacher and I have an interview with the GTP people on tuesday so having a good Ofsted would boost my confidence if nothing else. I'm now having a mini melt down as I can't decide which order to do my sessions and worry that which ever way I put them will be wrong and Ofsted will laugh me out of the school.

Sorry rant over just needed to get it out of my system. Whats bugging you?

I am trying to cut 700 words out of an essay. What's particularly bugging me about it is that I've already done it once, weeks ago, and forgot to press save ? I also keep thinking of more to say, so for every word I cut I put two in.

On the plus side it is a juicy and very interesting subject (cartels!)

Minor minor mini rants from me.

Stupid ankle, it needs to start working right about now.

Ebay purchaser. I posted the item and have replied courteously to her query about why it hasn't arrived. Today's message simply says "item never arrived???????????????????????????????". How very helpful.

Just a small non-important-on-the-scale-of-rants rant from me about my silly old foot. I've had the packing on for seven days and my Podiatrist did say it should be in place for 14 but I just thought there might be some improvement by now and there isn't.

Will suck it up and report back in another week but I'm just a little tired of one-legged baths and not being able to do any exercise at all. Oh and living in my trainers which are so holey it's actually embarrassing. Hopefully I can afford to buy a new pair at the beginning of next month when H gets paid. I'm running out of socks the same colour which do at least disguise the holes! [laugh[

Not life threatening but I was really excited about H&M's Matthew Williamson launch tomorrow as I'd seen a photo of the most beautiful blue/peacock feather print dress. Organised to swap shifts with someone at work to go and queue at the Glasgow store tomorrow morning. Have just checked the website (info wasn't available previously) and the damn thing isn't available in ANY stores in the UK!

Their marketing trick has clearly worked as I'm now like 'Ok, what else do I like?' But nothing else in the collection jumps out at me. Grrrrr, I want that dress!

Me too! The one Katy Perry was wearing? I looooove that. You could probably get one on e Bay for a couple of hundred quid!

Imagine my excitement on reading Heat at Heathrow a couple of years ago that the Madonna H&M range was being launched in the States the week we were out there ? I still love the sequin dress I bought.

    Good luck with Ofsted!

I'm BU about my friend's wedding, and how much it's costing us. I'm a BM, so there is a lot expected of me - staying in the wedding venue (150GBP) wedding present (whatever pennies we can scrape together) hen night (300GBP), stag do (400GBP) plus our baby daughter isn't invited to the wedding (their day, their way I guess) so I need to pay for an additional day at nursery for the wedding day (a friday, another 50GBP)

On a plus point, as I'm a BM I don't need to pay for a new outfit, and MrQ is an Usher, so he'll have a suit provided too. I've put my foot down and said I can't afford to pay to have my make up done (75GBP) which was met with the response that it'll be a shame that I won't match the others. Ho Hum.

I know we could stay somewhere cheaper on the night of the wedding, but as we are part of the wedding party the B&G have asked if we will stay in their venue, and join them for breakfast the following morning.

I know I have to suck it up, but it's marring the experience for me. I'm much more looking forward to another friend's wedding where our daughter is invited, and the hen night / stag do is one night out!

My manager cancelled an important meeting with our partners (with 2 hours notice), because his car broke down - has he not heard of public transport or getting a cab?! If we don't impress them this year, I won't have a job next year - I'm fuming!

    Good luck with Ofsted!

I've had back ache for over a week and it's really getting to me now. And I can't afford an osteopath at the moment. Grrrr.

April has been bl00dy awful, I'm hoping May is our lucky month.

I asked Mr Foo to stop sniffing and he told me that I am intolerant and stropped off to bed. And I don't care.

H and I got our wills done in November. H messed up the signing of his so has had to get it done again. He was aware of this in late November. Now in late April it still isn't done. I have reminded him once a fortnight yet despite this not only has he not got it done, he hasn't even checked where it is. Now it appears he has lost it.

It is one simple bloody thing and he still can't get round to doing it and has fobbed me off every single time I have mentioned it.

I have no gripes, i'm shocked at myself, well except maybe people who've not responded about MissSun's birthday party, do they not realise i'm going on my hols and want to do up the party bags before I go? So inconsiderate.

Foo, has he got hayfever? I have to endure sniffing from April to September usually, but i'm not allowed to moan or i'm unsympathetic.

Zeb, I feel for you with a bad back, are you taking anything for it?

Daughter and I had planned a barbeque for this evening - it has to be early because youngest son goes to Youth Club at 6.30 so wanted to start BBQ at about 5 to give us plenty of time - Mr Moose announces this morning he has booked to play squash at 5 this evening but "should be back by 6 so that's ok!". No it's not, half an hour is not long enough for a BBQ (apart from which when he gets back he will want to shower so will be even later!) Grrrrrr!

Also still reeling from some sad news (see other "sympathy card" thread I am about to compose)

I have horrific period pains and have done so for the last 3 days. Think I need to get my pill changed as I've started doing spots as well....never done those before.

I am traumatised by needy friends at the moment.

Friend A has done something silly which has got her in trouble at home. She needs to talk about it constantly and while I really really don't mind talking to her and helping her reach decisions about what to do, it's really getting me down as I'm pretty useless really. No-one can fix it but her and we seem to be talking in circles.

Friend B has very poor taste in men and picks controlling partners who are prone to depression. She needs to talk about it all the time and while I'm happy to do so....etc etc, see above!

Fiend C is having a make-up party this morning which I have to go to but don't want to. She's invited lots of people but not many have responded so I feel bad for her. What normal adult has a party on a Thursday morning? Mental!

My legs hurt as I've started running again after a break of a few months. 'No pain, no gain' and all that but I've got another run schedualled for this afternoon and its going to really huuuurt. I'm such a wuss.

The thing that is bugging me at the moment is holiday companies that take your money months before you're due to travel but don't pass that money on to their suppliers meaning that when they go bust you loose your holiday. If they'd have paid their suppliers when i paid them then this might not have happened and i might still have a holiday but no! They take my money, line their bank accounts with it for a few months and then it's me who is out of pocket and having to claim the money back which at the last count has taken 7 months. Of course i can afford to be £2500 out of pocket......not!!
