Getting Married in Majorca Sept 2014 :)

MichelleM85, 6 August, 2013 at 11:01 Posted on Honeymoons & Getting Married Abroad 0

Hello, just joined today as that's our Wedding Plans in motion, booked the Church and going over to Majorca to have a look at the Church, have a look at possible reception venues and see if I can get some details on a florist & hairdresser! I have it all planned out and we're not using a wedding planner(don't really see the need), does this checklist sound good so far, and have I missed anything really obvious?!

Already done -

Finalised guest list & dates(just family and close friends)

Chosen and booked the Church

To Do-

August - Travel to Puerto Pollensa to meet with the admin lady in the Church and make payment to secure our Wedding date, look at reception venues and enquire about a florist and hairdresser(we'll be doing our own make-up!).

September - Book Honeymoon to Cuba

January - Book flights and accomodation for the Wedding

February - Order dress

May - Book Reception venue. Send Invites.

July - Buy Bridesmaids dresses and accessories, book registry office for civil ceremony. Buy wedding favours and gifts for Bridesmaids.

September(beginning) - Civil ceremony, make sure paperwork has arrived by end September. Organise Kilts, & flowers for the Church & Reception, arrange to be delivered to both venues on the day of the Wedding.

September(end) - Travel to Majorca 2 days before the wedding to check flowers, reception, organise taxis(Church, reception venue and hotel are all within 5 minutes of each other so no point hiring fancy cars), give guests an itinerary for the Wedding day. Get Married!

October - Travel home for 2 days, send thank you cards, go on Honeymoon Smiley smile

    Hi

we are getting married in puerto pollensa next year.... or should i say we WERE! have you had the news about the church? we are now looking for another one and will probably involve travel ITS ALL MONEY!!!!!

florist wise i would reccommend a lady called PAm CRYMBLE, she is lovely and nothing seems to be an issue to her!

Where have you looked for wedding venues? How many people are u planning on having?

Let me know if you have any joy with the church!
