Getting married in the USA (Florida)

Ivana1985, 5 November, 2012 at 21:01 Posted on Honeymoons & Getting Married Abroad 0 1

Hi, I am getting married in Florida next May and have a question about legal requirements. Do you need a 'certificate of no impediment' - initial google research suggests not but I want o be 100% sure. Any help much appreciated x

Hi, follow the link below to the dibb website. I'm getting married in Florida in August and it's been very helpful. You won't need a certificate of no impediment unless you have been divorced within the last 6 months. You can email the court clerk to double check what you will need - they are very helpful. All you need is to go together with suitable ID and fill in the form. You can do the form in advance if you wish. Hope that helps.
