Getting nervous & excited now... boudoir shoot tomorrow!

Mrs Bloom, 24 January, 2009 at 14:25 Posted on Planning 0 13

Cheska also has hers but I think she's gone off to have her hair done so I have no-one to talk to about it!

So far I have: removed body hair, done face mask, body scrub, nails, and having haircut/colour after work, and have packed a few things to take.

Can you think of anything else I should have done?

I have no advice - but think you're very brave! You must tell us how it went!

    Good luck!

Not much, my bag looks worryingly empty! I have H2B's wedding shirt and tie, a silky nightgown and robe he likes (the weirdo doesn't like lingerie, just to try make this more difficult for me!), some of my long marabou feathers I'm using for the table decorations (for that 'burlesque' feel), a big black flower & feather fascinator, various items of jewellery and thats about it. Oh and my furry leapord print coat.

Nicola (the tog) has a veil and fabrics/sheets for draping over/around.

Just remember to have fun Smiley smile Nicola probably already gave you some tips for before you get there,, but here's one from me anyway, don't wear anything that could leave a skin indention, such as socks, tight bra, or anything that might leave a mark. It can take a good 40 minutes sometimes to let a tight bra strap indention to go away, and the same for sock marks. I tell my clients to wear footwear that also won't leave a mark, sandals, or uggs if it's cold out.

    Best of luck!

Hope you both have fun and come back and tell us all about it. After your last post I really wanted to do it too, have looked into it but just have to work out if I can really afford it!

If you google 'Beautifully Boudoir' that should come up with a boudoir photographer in Glasgow (Maryhill Road). That's where I'll get mine done in a year or so! ?
