Getting semi permanent eyelashes put on tonight as a trial before wedding!

SaSaSi, 20 April, 2011 at 16:31 Posted on Planning 0 13

Will let you's all know how I get on - she says it will take about one & a half hours??

The only thing I should have told her is that im allergic to the dye used for eyelashes & eyebrows - never used to be but the last 2 times (at different places) the skin around my eyes went all red & dry & itchy - my eyebrows felt like they were on fire & my eyes as though there was grit in them!

So hopefully they'll still look as good without my own being dyed.

Not a clue! I just know they will last a few weeks. My eyelashes are naturally long so I really just need more of them if that makes sense. I wear contacts so don't really want them too long as I could find them hard to work with then. I'll try & get the make of them etc 2moro nite. Honest I felt like a total ass. I'd run around like a mad chicken to get their on time - scrubbed grout on tiles in kitchen + hall (Easter clean) made dinner + lunches, shower + hair done all in 1 hour 45 mins . For nowt ! Lol

Hahaa I'm sure we've all done something equally as daft!

As an aside, Tricks you will be proud of me - I am now leaving it two weeks between eyelash appointments. It has been tough, but I'm coping well.

Well ladies got the lashes on last nite - they are called lash perfect & Im really pleased.

THey are a teeny bit longer than my own but my lashes just look a lot fuller.

Was kinda uncomfortable to get done - felt wierd & I could feel her 'clipping' the flase ones if that makes sense? Took an hr & 20mins.

They are really beautiful & quite natural looking.

She gave me a brush to brush them every day, told me not to get them wet for 24hrs until the glue sets & told me to sleep on my back! lol

So they are still inplace this morning. She asked did i want to get them topped up before my hen do but I'll see how i get on with them.

Im starting waxing in 4 weeks & shes told me to stop shaving now! BOKE!

Sounds like a lot of you ladies on this thread have these frequently. I had thought of giving them a try for my big day. Are any particular brands better than others? Also, how long would I expect them to last?

    Thank you!
