When and how did you get engaged? Got engaged on our 5-year anniversary in November. He took me away for a weekend to this beautiful loch. He kept worrying about it being too rainy to go for a walk which I found quite strange! Luckily it stayed dry, we went for a walk, and he went down on one knee and produced a gorgeous ring. It was wonderful. We then drank lots of champagne and got rather drunk. Unfortunately we filmed us tripping about the hotel room, not my finest moment!

Tell me about your OH - we met on facebook, chatted on there for a week or so then moved on to MSN and texting and met up about 2 weeks later. I was determined that i didnt want a relationship (had just come out of a bad one). So poor Marc asked me out every week for about 2 months (despite the fact that we were seeing each other at least 4 times a week i would not sy that we were together). In the end was on the way to school (I am a teacher) one day and suddenly realised that i was being stupid so text Marc adn said yes. He moved in about a week later. He is 7 years younger than me and the one person who has made me truely happy, both of us were massive party animals in the past and yet he is the first person who i am completly happy staying in with. All of our mates are jealous as even when we have a massive row we have put it behind us and are laughing with each other within the hour. We have now been together 1 year 8 months.

When adn how did you get engaged - Marc finally propsed to me at his family's christmas meal infront of everyone. He had hidden the ring at his parents as he is useless at keeping secrets and would have shown me. I say eventually as I had already started planning the wedding, so I had a sneaky idea that there would be a man on one knee infront of me soon.

How long will it be between getting engaged and married - 14 months

Where are you goign on honeymoon - Mauritus

Current planning focus - got to teh stage where being stupidly organised everythign is sorted but too far away from the date for stuff to really start happening - i hate it!! Although with the summer coming will have ot go fruit picking and jam making - our invites are going out in boxes with small jars of home made jam, posj tea bags, tea towels with the date etc on all in a box wrapped in brown paper and string. So am tring to sort out all the components although they wont be going out till Nov.

I took Nic for a walk up Caerphilly Mountain one night. You can see the castle all lit up and just asked her what she was doing in a years time and if she fancied going to a wedding. She said "who's?) and I said "ours", She just burst into tears and said yes. Tell me about your OH - and how long have you been together? - We met first week of uni and hit it off straight away. Been together ever since, so approximately 6 and a half years!

Wedding date - Not booked the venue yet but we want 11th June 2011

Where is your wedding? - Harrow Middlesex, in his local church as my family arent religious. Then hopefully an old converted Barn for the wedding breakfast and then on to a hall (a stones throw away) for the evening bit, as there are too many restrictions on the Barn for party time!

When and how did you get engaged? - 1st April 2010 (April fools, but after 12 o'clock thankfully). Got home from work full of cold and tired, to a house full of candles and roses! He'd cooked me a three course meal then after dinner got down on one knee with a gorgeous ring he had made for me. I knew it was coming but it was perfect!

How long will it be between when you first got engaged, and when you get married? - if we get the date we want, 1 year 2 months ish.

Where are you going on honeymoon? - Cant decide as there are so many beautiful places, either the Carribean, Sri Lanka or Malaysia!

What are you currently focusing on in your planning? - Booking the venue, just waiting for parent to come down this weekend (I'm from West Yorkshire) so that they can see it before we book!

What do you do when you're NOT planning a wedding?! - Trainee Solicitor. Hope to qualify in October as a criminal solicitor, having cross-qualified from being a non-practising barrister! Havent had much spare time as my best friend just got married (last weekend) who I was a bridesmaid for so things have been crazy for a while! Now for my planning to get underway!

When and how did you get engaged? he proposed christmas evening with all my family there after asking my dad on christmas eve, after our christmas dinner at my parents he gave everyone cards including me, mine said fiance on the front and i hid it from everyone, it said inside, on the tree there is a special gift that will change my life forever, i got up, very teary as to cut a long story short my OH's ex who he has a baby with, had been told he was going to propose as to inform her of changes to the babies life and she had demanded we bring the baby back, so christmas day before i knew anything of the proposal we where up and down the motorway tears streaming because i thought he was breaking up with me, and he wasn't saying anything, so finally we got the baby to my parents after the ex had passed out drunk, and i couldnt fine what he was talking about on the tree, my mum jumped up crying her eyes out shouting "its there its there" and i found a small silver bag containing the most perfect ring i could ever imagine.

Met OH 26 years ago on holiday in spain, were good friends and then penpal'd a bit when we got back, then I met my future hubby and me and OH lost touch. Was with ex hubby for 20 years, and got in touch with OH 8 years ago on Friends reunited, were really good mates, and then Apr 2008 worked out we were more than friends and got together, moved in with him Aug 08.. we think we were always meant to be together, but i met my ex-hubby to have my daughter and we were too young to have got together for it to have lasted. When and how did you get engaged? - May 2008. We were on holiday in North Wales with my parents and grandparents and OH disappeared straight after breakfast, I was getting frustrated as everyone was waiting to go out for the day and he was nowhere to be found, my cousin eventually told me he was in the gardens. I went out to find him and he called me over to a secluded corner of the garden and went down on one knee. He proposed with a baseball cap with 'Miller' on, the running joke was I wasn't allowed to wear his hat as I wasn't a Miller. It took a while for me to realise he was being serious (I actually asked him twice whether he was taking the p!ss) We chose the ring together when we got home.

How long will it be between when you first got engaged, and when you get married? - 2 years 4 months (I can't understand why I'm not more organised!!)

Where are you going on honeymoon? - we're going away in the UK straight after the wedding, we're looking at log cabins in the middle of nowhere. Then we're hoping to go to Mexico in March/April 2011

What are you currently focusing on in your planning? - our priority at the moment is ordering our stationary and choosing our wedding rings

Tell me about your OH - and how long have you been together? He's a wonderful chap. Supportive, funny and I love him to bits. We've been together for 2 years in August.

Where is your wedding? A little village near Henley on Thames.

When and how did you get engaged? In February. He took me out to a comedy show we'd seen 18 months to the day. As we were walking there, he told me he knew at that very moment 18 months prior that he'd met someone who would change his life. He then got down on one knee (in a puddle, oops!), told me he loved me and always would, asked me if I'd do the honour of marrying him and produced stunning whopper of a diamond ring from De Beers which fitted perfectly. Cue floods of tears and a resounding yes from me!

Where are you going on honeymoon? We're having a break in the UK the following week and he's organising this as a surprise. We're then going away in September for 5 weeks taking in the Cook Islands, Fiji and NZ.

Tell me about your OH - and how long have you been together? We first met when i was 17 in a nightclub and got together for a few weeks but as i keep getting reminded i "dumped" him. I was young and wanted to go out and get drunk with my girls. We always said hi if we saw each other but nothing really more. He went on to have a daughter and i lived in Magaluf for 2 years, ha ha. Then just before christmas 08 i saw him out and we got chatting then he requested me on Facebook. We carried on chatty for a few weeks and officially got together in feb 09. What's he like......well he's the most annoying person in the world, always joking about and playing pranks but i wouldn't have him any other way, he's the only person who i can't stay mad at and can make me smile at any time.

When and how did you get engaged? We got engaged last christmas. I had absoloutley no idea as OH had been made redundant a few months earlier so didn't expect anything let alone a ring. We were led in bed waiting to get up to go to his daughters house and he gave me my card, it said "To my Fiance" on the front, i did a doub;e look and there he was with the ring in his hand.

When and how did you get engaged? Xmas Day 2006. Two presents were under the tree, one from H and one from "the cat". H asked which I wanted to open first, said I didn't mind, he gave me one to open and buried inside was the ring. He couldn't even look at me! Other present was a gorgeous solitare necklace which matched.

Im sinead im 25yrs old!

I met my partener on a night out in liverpool through people we know, after an hour or so we were sat at a table by ourselves and we talked all night! We have never stopped since he is, soppy i know, but my best friend! We have a little boy of three, mt partener proposed christmas eve in our favorite resteraunt and it will be nearly the 5 years engaged once we get married! My fella is extremely kind loving, too good natured a fantastic dad who cant do enough for anyone.....oh and very good looking!!

We havnt booked thne honeymoon yet but atm its between bahamas and the maldives, somewhere child friendly thou as we are going as a family with our little man!

Main focus atm is trying desperatly to get the numbers sorted for the invites, and my dress ( as seen by my many posts at the moment)

When im not engrosed in wedding details and hitched im a busy mummy with a part time job that loves to be out and about with either my family or a night with the girls!!
