It's a lovely idea, and I like the design, but I think the handwriting is a bit too "childlike" for my liking. It looks like one of my old primary school writing exercises!

OP, have you thought about picking a nice font and printing the text off onto the page, but using very thin and very pale grey coloured text. That means that you can go over the printed text with your own pen, so it looks like you've done it yourself and have super-cool writing skills (but you've actually cheated a little)!

Good idea, the card I am using to write on is already A5 so I'm not sure if it go in my printer, but I will try it. My H2B likes it as I am a primary school teacher and I write like this all the time so people will recognise my writing! I don't want it to look too homemade though!

It looks homemade but thats what i like ;-) I think its too easy to go over the top on small details...would your usher really mind if it was hand wrote rather than printed? ;-)
