At my friends wedding she got the flower girsl and paige boys build a bear and the boys were dressed in wedding suits and the girls as brides they then came with a certificate with the birthday as the wedding date and a little name. Makes a lovely keepsake for them and they can always go and buy a spiderman costume for it later if they want too x

Hi Girls,

Are their a few people using this forum for idea's and sharing things? I saw there was a facebook group set up which i joined but have now left the group as too many non-wedding stuff being posted its hard to keep up with if you know what i mean. Would much rather use a proper forum.

Anyway, i'm getting married on 28th June 2014 and have so far just booked the venue! eeek.

For the older one what about a personalised yoyo - Something he can play with but makes a nice gift

We haven't bought any gifts yet but I've had some ideas :

Weve got two page boys. They'll both be about 3 and half at wedding. I was thinking of getting them a toy they can play with on the day. There's quite a lot of outdoor space so we're considering remote control car or boat. And also something they can keep, I've seen a nice print that can be framed and personalised on not on the high street. They'll also get to keep the vans and bow ties we buy them for their outfits.

For Mums we're thinking brooch to put on in the morning. And then the parents in couples will get some sort of evening for them...a meal or show or something.

Bridesmaids - bracelets and dressing gowns

Ushers/best men/dads - engraved pocket watches

That's the plan at the minute anyway
