Gift List wording!

Could you say something along the lines of;

'we do not expect a present, were grateful if you can attend,

however if you would like to gift us something we have a little list at john lewis,

or we would very much apprieciate some dollars towards our honeymoon'

Sorry if this is rubbish or too lengthy, Im crap at wording things but just trying to think of how id like to read an invite xxx

This is what we're sending in ours .....

We are sending out this invitation

In hope you will join a celebration

But if a gift is your intention

May we take this opportunity to mention

We have already got a kettle and toastercrockery, dinner mats, and matching coasters

so rather than something we have already got

We would appreciate money for our honeymoon pot

But most importantly we request

That you come to our wedding as our guest

xxxx

My friend had a poem similar to above in her invitations. It was quite nicely worded
