I've watched quite a bit of the fesival this year on TV and am determined to go - Master Vixen will be 23 months next year, is that too young? ?

I'm taking my 22 month old to a festival next month and took him last year when he was 9 months. I'm anticipating this year being more difficult as he's so much more mobile and can run. ?

Glasto is very child friendly and has loads to do for kids - my only reservation would be the sheer size of the site might mean you spend a lot of time trekking about and the size of the crowd would mean that seeing the big acts would be quite difficult. But if you're prepared to just go and chill out in the kids/green field areas it would be really fun.

I don't think so. I've seen all ages whilst watching and Lily Allen said she was 6 weeks old when she first went.

I think it depends on the child though. MissSun would hate it, far too many people.

We'll be going with a 18 month old next year. Am kicking myself for opting out this year (we're regular festival goe-ers) because I thought she was too young. It'll be a different festival with a young 'un - less cider, less music, more hanging out in Kidz Field - but I think it's worth doing and how cool for the kids to be able to say "yeah, I've been going to Glasto since I was 2"

We're doing Beautiful Days festival in August with her as a trial run. Should be a giggle!

Well I'm hoping to take E to Sonisphere - a huge rock festival - when she is 1 month shy of 3

Woo hoo, I think it's perfectly acceptable to take him then! Better get my name down.
