Glitzy Secrets - Worth splashing out on?

cford09, 3 May, 2012 at 09:42 Posted on Planning 0 15

I've been looking for a side tiara for a little while now but with a very strict budget. By far, the nicest ones I have seen are the Glitzy Secrets ones and I'm trying to decide whether it would be worth splashing out on one or whether I should just get a cheaper one.

Does anyone have a Glitzy Secrets one? Are the exceptionally comfortable or perfect and worth pushing the boat out for?

I'd love to see flashes too if anyone has any?

Thank you!

I actually think Glitzy Secrets are one of the more reasonable places for Tiaras etc. They cost much more in bridal shops.

Mine was a Glitzy Secrets side tiara: /products/romantic-sensation-side-tiara

I wouldn't say it was the most comfortable tiara out there but once it's in place it's absolutely fine. I had it on from 11am to Midnight with no problems.

There are pics on my report if you want to see it in real life.

I got mine yesterday! They seem to be really good quality compared to some of the other ones I've seen. Mine needs to be clipped on with hair grips so not sure how comfy it will be, but it does look fab!

I wanted a Glitzy Secrets side tiara and ended up buying it from a lady who bought it for her wedding but didn't use it in the end.

It ended up costing me £25 including postage so under half price!

If you would like one can I suggest that you advertise on the for sale area on here and there might be a bride who is looking to sell hers after her wedding or someone who will keep you in mind.

You can get some real bargains!

I ended up getting a glitzy secrets hair comb. I kept looking on ebay as they were coming up all the time so keep having a look. Mine was brand new as the lady got 2 and wore the other one.

Not bought a tiara from there, but got my wedding earrings and they are gorgeous. Miles better than the pic and much sparklier. Go for it!

I got mine from GS and loved it! It was a small side tiara that went perfectly with my dress - i've attached an image from the website, which really does not do it any justice whatsoever as it looks so much nicer in real life. Unfort, as I only got married last Saturday, I don't have any flashes to put up yet!!

If it helps, I can send you a link for 10% off - message me your email address. I've done it for others so it's no problem and every little bit helps! Plus i wanna spread the discount love!!

Ps mine was dead comfy, didn't even realise i had it on! My hairdresser told me to wear it in for a few days before the wedding to help mould it to the shape of my head, but tbh i didn't get a chance (except for 2 days weeks in advance) as I didn't want OH to see it. But still, v comfy and I got a lot of compliments.

And before you ask, i'm not a GS rep or anything, i was just really impressed with their stuff and their prices!
