    Hi

I made my invitations and added ribbon to them. I used glue dots. They were great and not messy at all, definitely did the trick!

I used some stuff called pinflair glue gel. It worked really well for sticking sequins on to the card as well as sticking paper and card together.

Definitely use GLUE DOTS & DOUBLE SIDED TAPE, any runny glue may show through the ribbon & even take the colour out of it. I have made all my own invites these were the best options.

You can buy the tape in a tipex style, roll on applicator, if you search on ebay for 'tape pen' they have allsorts - just make sure it's double sided!

    Happy crafting!

If you have anything you want to give a slightly raised 3D effect you can get sticky foam pads.

    Happy Crafting!

Glue dots is the answer from me too. I did 100 for my sister last year and not one fell off. I have a habit of gluing my fingers together when left with glue In a tube/glue guns, so the safer and cleaner option is the dots. Hope that helps x

I'm a glue gun girl myself, takes a bit of practice. If I'm being impatient I use Wilkinson's all purpose glue, sticks everything to everything and dries clear. Used it for everything I've made so far and it's been brilliant.
