Go and look at the moon...

Its too cloudy here. which is disappointing

Clouds are just starting to come over here. I've just come back from a run in the dark and it looked amazing.

I've been out the front and back of the house and can't see the moon - someone has stolen it....

Can't see the moon from here either (or the garden step apparently, which I just fell over). Quit hoarding it!

Reporting moon stolen here too.

Saw it last night on my way down the motorway from the North Coast.

I saw it on my way home! I thought that bright star might not be a star, it's too big and bright. Oooh, I've seen Jupiter.?

We went to a local forest at the beginning of October where the local astronomical society had set up telescopes. I was amazed to find this huge big star was Jupiter, the hazy splodge was the Milky Way and that there are men out there who know the name of every minute sparkle of light.

Really opened my eyes to it all. Sadly, can't see the moon here now.

I noticed it too on my way home from work and thought it looked a bit odd - oooh!

I thought it was Venus at the bottom right with Jupiter at the top right as Venus was eclipsed by the moon tonight for an hour? It's going to be visible for a couple of days too.

I am glad you posted this, as I was wondering what it was.

It just looked so weird the moon having such a large bright 'star' close to it.

We have a clear sky but no moon either. In all seriousness though, Where will it be??

Moon AWOL in Sussex

Thanks BGB for posting that, it was lovely and clear here in Kidderminster this evening at 5.30pm and the moon just looked as if it had a little diamond twinkling at the bottom of it.

We all wondered what it was as I'd never seen a "star" there before.

It was verry purrdy

It was cloudy where I was last night, but will it be visible for a few nights? or just last night?

It was very pretty. Saw it best about 5pm when we came out of a shop and the children saw it first. Was going to take a photo but by the time I got home it had started misting over ☹️
