Good hubby/bad hubby...??

vintageangel, 8 January, 2012 at 18:36 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 36

Mine is most definitely in the good books for making me my lovely new shelves, i'm rather excited about them, not to everyone's taste but i love them!....

So are your husbands in the good or bad books this weekend, what have they done?

    I love those shelves!

I have a bad hubby I'm afraid. I've spent the whole day tidying up after him and he still hasn't put a fixing in the wall so that I can hang my Christmas present up.

Mine has been a good hubby. Came to a Christening with me, even though he wouldn't know hardly anyone, he's cooking tea tonight, he finished making a new house for my tortoise and he did lots of DIY jobs and touch ups whilst he was off work last week.

    I love those shelves.

Mine is neither really - I've barely seen him! It was his birthday yesterday but he's been on late shifts all weekend.

I didn't have you down as a smoker, Mrs C! We have lots of bars like that near us. Damaging stuff!

Good hubby here. Lots of house chatter here today!

Mine has been very good. He cooked a lovely roast dinner tonight and has been really sweet and wonderful for ages. In fact, I can honestly say we haven't had a single argument this year! (I know it is only the 8th, but still).

V Good hubby. He's spent the day replacing a cracked floor tile in the kitchen, then cooked me dinner (pasta and microwave bolognaise I cooked a week ago, but still) while I sat on the sofa with a headache.

    Shisha/Hookah/Bubble... much of the same...

CB - We only have the tobacco free molasses which aren't quite as bad as normal and only smoke it once in a blue moon.

Mine would have been bad if he'd been here. It's his default setting! Ha.

Love those shelves they are beyond awesome!!

Bad hubby here (well hubby to be anyway), he's done nothing useful all weekend unless I've nagged him a thousand times. And when we went shopping today to pick up some house stuff and his bros birthday present, he got him the new fifa 12 and decided to get himself one as well - thats £43 that we don't have!!! Grrr

Good hubby - instructed me to put my feet up while HE did all the housework yesterday (3 loads of laundry, vacuuming the whole downstairs, and rearranging the bedroom furniture which we've been threatening to do for weeks!).

Bad hubby - left the only pair of jeans that fits me comfortably in the wash basket with the wet, un-racked clothes so this morning I've had to put on a pair that are too tight across my bump [:'(]

    Love the shelves!

Excellent hubby - painted the skirting boards, freshened up the walls in our porch and hung up the Welsh Love Spoons we got as wedding presents. He also primed and undercoated our stair banister. I loathe any form of decorating so was very pleased all I had to do was make him cups of tea.

Definitely good. Yesterday we went shopping & he bought me a new coat, took me out for lunch (granted it was BK, but he paid nonetheless) & paid the deposit on the honeymoooooon.

Mine is very much in the good books. Whilst I was out visiting my Great Aunt in hospital, he took down all the decorations and the tree, wrapped the decorations individually in tissue paper and packed everything away. It was all in the loft by the time I got home and he'd also straightened the place up.
