Good idea to share - photographs...

I have heard of this being done before, and i think i was someone on here who had done it! Its the alternative to the disposable on the table! Im just going to get my close relatives to email me them or I'll copy them from facebook!

aw no worries!! It is a fab idea! Its funny when I think i have a fab idea and then look on here and theres a few people have done it already!!

I've added that to my "to-do" list.....

I read one lady did it and no-one returned them, very disappointing and wasted a lot of money. I think making sure everyone knows your email address or making a wedding website where they can be uploaded may be a good alternative. I know a lot of people include website details on their invites now.

Confetti do also specially enveloped CDs for it!

I bought rewrittable cd's and put them in cd envelopes but in the rush of the day I forgot to put them on the table (wish I'd have delegated this job!)

I went to a wedding earlier in the year where there were cd's on the table and then any left over over ones were left for the evening guests. I thought it was a great idea and definatley an idea i want to copy. She said she'd got the idea from Four Weddings. It was a great success and they had loads of photos sent to them afterwards.

My friend had this at her wedding in May and is sorting it out for ours for me. shes going to distribute them out after the meal and to the evening guest so they dont get left on the tables.

I think its a great idea.

This isnt in any way a NEW idea, I was reading about this 2 years ago ....... however, one rather cool wedding gift I got was a friend came to the church to take photos before and after, was a lovely surprise as her and her partner were invited to the reception only. Unknown to me, she took the photos, put them on disc, printed off a selection and put them in a frame.

The next day, when opening up our wedding gifts, I was totally surprised to see such a thoughtful and individual gift and promptly burst into tears lol..... our first wedding photos within 24 hrs

this is a good idea, i wish i had done it, but wouldnt have given one CD to each person - probably left them on a side table, or put 3 on each table so whoever had a camera or was taking photos could pick it up x
