Hello everyone

It's soooo quiet at the moment. Who is around this morning and wants a cuppa and a biccie?

Why does it say 'edit tags' at the bottom of my posts????!!! ( incase you are wondering I used to post on babytalk before hitched layout changed, and have only just returned....so while I may have posted 1000 times, i haven't a clue really!)

Morning all!!!!!! Tea, milk, two sweetners please! Bit early for biscuit action for me but you guys go ahead and indulge! ️☕️

How are we all today?! I am still drying out from going to the edinburgh tattoo last night - great spectacle but god it rained - it was like sitting under a shower head for 2 hours....⛈☂️

️☕️ coming up for everyone. I'm going to be good and have a yoghurt now that some of you are saying it's too early for a biscuit and put me to shame!

Mummy the tag things are so you can tag your post with key words which then appear in a list on the right hand side of the forum page. I've never used them though and don't really see the point and you can only tag onto your own posts. Does that make sense?!

I do on average 100 - 150 covers every week at the moment, besides Flowers, Venue Dressing, Paperwork etc!

    This is a usual Monday:

Funnily enough I don't like ironing, kills my back. Do you have a fancy fab iron that makes it any easier? I've got a steam generator that is brilliant and I'd never use a normal iron now. x

I've got 2 steam Generators , 1 for me & 1 for Mum! & a steamer that we use on site once we have fitted all the covers & they are better for the sashes as well.

My back kills me & my shoulders lifting them when they are all done is the worse bit as they are so bloody heavy!

We will probably spend about 8 - 10 hrs today as I have 2 weddings this week both with covers & full coordination so I will probably get them all done today as we are starting the venue dressing tomorrow for Fridays wedding & I have to travel to Newcastle under Lyme on Saturday at 4am!

Fair play to you Sherrie - I don't even own an iron! Good job your not trying to dry that lot in scotland this morning! We have washing everywhere round the house ATM - its taking ages to dry - I have to keep rewashing bits because its started to go musty. I have pointed out to H2B that I'm having to wash stuff again so he has agreed to getting a tumble dryer - hooray!!

    Whoops, afternoon all!

Not a big tea fan either so can I have a mug of options please? Better not have the biccies though as my dress is a tad snug!

I am doing a spot of washing too- but my horse's rugs. I'm doing them in mum's washing machine whilst she's at work (naughty me!). They stink. God knows how I'll dry them though as it's very showery here too and some of them are like duvets!

Another afternoon of moving more of my clothes to my new flat today I think. I love my new wardrobe that dad has made for us, seperate rails for dresses, tops and trousers, special clear shoe boxes.... I'm in heaven! (sad isn't it).

Sherrie- I feel for you. What a nightmare, it must take about 20 cycles in the washer too!

    Afternoon ladies!

Oooh - to have a ️☕️ made for me would be SOOOOOO lush! I have to make my own at work cos they're such an unsociable lot ☹️

Just thought I'd check in ... got something to post but thought I'd drop by here first to <wave> !

Sherrie - you've totally blown my image of a wedding coordinator type - I thought it would be all glam and sparkly and you'd have some wee elves and pixies dealing with the 'fall out' of a good wedding! Those are some photos!!!! Dear god. And i moan about doing a few shirts for Mr SP ....

carrieg4now - love the fact you're using your mums washing machine to do your horse rugs! Arf!! How many horses do you have? I'd like a horse one day, and a shetland or two for company. I drive past a solitary horse every morning and always think .... OY! Horse Owner Person! NO! Horses are pack animals! They don't like living alone! .... This one always looks sooooo sad. Poor thing. just stands there with its head hanging - I don't even see it eating that often (which for a horse is fairly unusual.....)

Should I steal it and give it a good home with 2 cats??!

Yes take it home with you and stick it in the garden!

I just have the one very cheeky pony called Rupert, although I used to look after 6 others when I was a groom/spinal therapist. These days I have a 'proper job' though! Mum'll never know! well..... that is until she washes anything else and they end up covered in brown hair!.

I think Rupert is excited that in 10 days my h2b will officially be his dad because once he signs the marriage register he will legally be adopting him right? I keep telling h2b that means he has to look after him if I can't, funnily enough he doesn't sound too keen!

Nope, I'm at work! You obviosly didn't see my 'aren't I a clever girl for making my computer do what its told without having to bug the IT department' thread!! H2B has put nails into the beams in the living room and spare rooms and strung climbing rope across it to dry stuff on, there is stuff on every door, chair and curtain rail - its doing my nut! And the wash basket is full again!! grr!

    Hi everyone,

I resisted on the biscuit this morning, but moving onto lunch now, I was being all good and having a sandwich for lunch, then one of the girls in the office came back with chips at lunchtime and I appear to have lost my way heading to the sandwich shop...I came back with chips too ?

They were good, but feeling a bit guilty!
