Hey folks,
I've promised good news for ages and here it is!! 3 lots of it!
Bit one, everything but the photographer and the cars is paid off! Our cars want payment on the day (it is a taxi firm, but I still find that quite odd?) and my parents are sorting out our photographer. So asides that, we're good to go!
Secondly, we saw all the beautiful sugarpaste flowers my Mum made for our wedding cake last week. She put them on a 'dummy', with the ribbon and everything, to give us some indication of what our wedding cake would look like and I have to say...AMAAZING!! I was hesitant about my Mum giving herself too much to do it if she did our wedding cake but I definitely don't regret my decision. Just like all the other cakes my Mum did for me throughout my years of growing up, she's done us proud!
Finally, if you've read my thread about wedding party trouble you may remember me mentioning that my bridesmaid C had a dress that didn't fit, and since ordering her new one she'd gained weight. Well thankfully, C's dress came on Wednesday and she had so much more room - she was actually able to do it up by herself! We only wet up one size but it seems bags bigger! It's gone for alterations now but thankfully it fits C, it looks absolutely flattering on C and my best mate can be up there with me on my wedding day!
