It's friday (I'm glad about that, before anyone asks).
I'm spending the weekend with the most gorgeous dog in the world. Ever.

Bad

Knee is still sore so no running.
QPR are playing away and I'm not going.

I think that's about it. I must say, I do like your good/bad threads Secret. What a fab idea.

Good:

I'm on leave until after the bank holiday
I've got social events galore over the next few days
Amelia is currently napping

Bad:
Too many to mention!

?Working from home today so i dont have to sit in my lonely office all day
? its my bday next Friday and we're off to Longleat, then a meal with loads of friends

G&T nearly killed me last night by lurking ninja-style outside the bathroom and scaring the life out of me when I came out.

Good:

Weekend of total gluttony ahead, starting with lazy take-away porn food tonight, progressing to the Real Food Festival tomorrow, and our local farmers market on sunday. Bliss.

Bad:

The flat is now covered in scaffolding and will be for the next 6 months. Plus stupid riggers decided it would be easier to rip the flower brackets off the wall, than to use a simple screwdriver, or simply move their pole an inch to the left. Cunts.

Good:
Finally plucked up the bottle to tell my OH that we were finished, I'd had enough of fighting etc etc

Bad:
He doesn't seem to be listening and is happily going about making plans, going on about booking holidays!!!

I'm making a fairy cake cake for him
We're getting curry and champagne tonight
Russell Brand is on Wossy this evening
I'm going to Joe Allen and a comedy club tomorrow <wooo and hooo>
I get to wear my new loofly red shoes tomorrow because of the above.

Bad:

I drank a leeetle too much wine last night
I'm waiting for shopping to arrive and I neeeeeeeed my lard
I am going to be overhung on Sunday
I will have to deal with my mother whilst overhung on Sunday ?

Good -
My H is finishing work at 6pm so we're going to have a nice meal and time together.
The house is tidy.
I finally got around to buying a new iron.
The *****iest person at work is off sick for the next 2 weeks.


Bad -
I have loads of ironing to do.
I'm working all weekend.
My cats have turned the house into a battleground.

So more good than bad.

Good
- My Dad had his bladder removed on Tuesday and is doing great. The Doctors are certain that all the Cancer has been removed and all his other tests have come back clear ?
- To take my mind off of things I have spent the week wallpapering our bedroom. It looks good!
- H has bought a new car. I am pleased because I was sick of hearing about his search ?
- We had to cancel our trip to Geneva at the end of May but have instead just moved it to September and also changed the destination to Prague - Hurrah!
- I have an interview for a promotion next week.
- We're having chipshop fish and chips tonight
- H and I are going out for a few drinks tomorrow night and a curry ??

Bad
- H is STILL waiting for an appointment for his heart op [V]
- I have lots of spots. Whhhhhy?
- I am scared about the interview next week and spent all night dreaming about it [V]

Good
Have got a nice weekend planned involving gardening and running with no pressures
Had a nice meal last night with MrSC
MrSC is in a very good mood after his job offer yesterday (as am I!)
Might be going to see my friend after work if she hasn't sprogged yet - haven't seen her or her little girl for ages and I miss them
There doesn't seem to be any panic buying in Brum as yet so I should be able to fill up my car with no trouble
Planning for Birmingham meet seems to be going well so hopefully in a couple of weeks I will get to meet some lovely Brummie hitchers ?

Nice meal out (mexican) has given me a bit of a dodgy tum.
Have got to get a new tyre for my car and would rather not till I find out if it passes its MOT.
My jeans were too tight last night even before the big meal, have been eating too much cr@p and not running for too long.

* K has finally got the hang of telling real jokes, which are funny, rather than made up ones
* We had a lazy morning messing about in my bed, cuddling and jumping on my bed which was fun
* My money situation is better than when I was working, which is odd but I'm not complaining, thank god I listened to Mum when I was younger and saved quite a bit

* I'm missing a good friend who has gone to Falklands for 4 months, she is one of my sidekicks/partners in crime
* A friend is having trouble with her OH(who is a complete twat) and I wish she could see what he's doing to her, well she does see, I wish she had the strength and courage to do something about it.

Finally booked a week away to Cyprus last night. Going in May.
The sun has made an appearance today.
I will be buying some holiday clothes later.
Going to a garden show at the Hop Farm tomorrow.
Going on a Bluebell walk in East Sussex on Sunday.

We will be staying at the in-laws this weekend to save to-ing and fro-ing.

It's Friday, and today we finish at 4.45pm
I did a faster 4.5K run before work this morn.
I am losing weight and people are commenting.
I get to watch H compete for his black belt tomorrow (I have never seen him assessed for a belt)
If he gets it, we will go out for a fab celebratory dinner.
I am mincing about in my fab new wedges.
My team have pledged to sponser me for R4L
I *think* I am halfway there to persuading H that I need to be taken to Capri for a birthday treat!

H has been unwell since our return from Rome, and that may impact upon his performance at said grading on Saturday.

I have to have a coloncoscopy(sp) on Monday[xx(]

* None - despite having to get a plumber out within 2 days of owning the house, nothing can dampen my high spirits ???

- She's also coming shopping with me tomorrow
- Next weekend I get to see my cousin who I haven't seen in nearly 10 years plus lots of other relatives who I don't get to see very often.
- MrTaz and I are going out for dinner tomorrow night and it's not costing us a penny.

Bad
- I too had a leeeetle bit too much wine last night
- I feel fat and horrible
- I have to go shopping tomorrow

? Its my monthly mums' night out tonight and I get to drink lots of wine at the pub. ?
? I didn't gain weight this week, which means weightloss from being poorly last week has stayed off.
?The builders are finishing off our extension. They should be gone sometime next week.
? The extension is massive. We'll have so much more space.

So, all-in-all, pretty good today. ?

Good:
* It's Friday and it's payday - my favourite combination
* My NVQ assessor has cancelled my observation - I hate training when being observed. Formally I mean.

Bad:
* Big bill for camper van MOT
* My bank won't let me pay my credit card bill, but they don't mind someone spending a grand on my overdraft in Pakistan
* I have driven about 800 miles this week and am knackered

? I've been given physio for my ankle and am allowed to walk short distances.
?It's my birthday this weekend.
?My H has agreed to run the British 10K in aid of RNIB even though I can't!

[V]My ankle is aching after the first short walk.
[V]My birthday dinner out may be cancelled due to ill health.
[V]I have to ring RNIB and tell them I can't do the 10K.
[V]H and I seem distant at the moment and it isn't helping that I'm so snappy.
[V]I can't seem to stabilise my weight due to my inactivity.

GOOD

* My husband has made it up to London on his poorly hoof.

* My Mum and I are going out to Lunch.

* It's pay day

* Am going to my professional support group in London tomorrow,
helping me to develop my counselling and I get to eat out afterwards!!!


BAD

* I have to spend Sunday doing another Assignment for college and preparing honest feedback for the last 4 peers on my college course.

Bad

* I'm still dwelling on the mistake I made and am still so sad that I hurt H and just want to make it right.
* I'm at work.
* I desperatly want to take some holiday time this month to concentrate on my marriage, but I can't as we're too busy and short staffed at the moment.
* I have no money.

Good

* H says we're going to be ok.
* My boss is interviewing, which should keep him out of my face for an hour at least.

Good:

* I'm going to my aunts house tonight for chinese takeaway, wine, playing with cute cousins and a viewing of her new bump
* I got an interview for a placement year, I really, really want
* I finally joined HPAD and am loving it already
* I get to see Mr Pants tonight
* I had some quality time with the mothership yesterday, hopefully making my last few months of living at home slightly more bearable
* The weekend involves rock-climbing, a demolition derby, dancing, cocktails and a nice dinner somewhere fun

Bad:

* I have a mountain of essays to do
* I feel fat
* I am covered in spots
