Goodluck threads are supposed ....

teeheeyoucrazyguys!, 5 April, 2010 at 13:40 Posted on Planning 0 21

To be read on the brides final day or night on Hitched.

I'v just given MrsLunney 2b a talking to!! Smiley smile Fodette did it too.... naughty step for you bad bridies!

so remember, when a lovely hitcher sets up a goodluck thread for you it means you are NOT allowed to look until the threads complete...........

that would be like opening your birthday/xmas gifts early and wrapping them up again......

here endeth the lesson.

Never mind, resist the urge to check again before the weekend and you can read it before the wedding. Enjoy your last week as a Miss! xx

Well I didn't say 'do not look' on the total so legally you could look but you really shoudn't. I didn't read mine that a hitcher was coming to my wedding and put it in my box post although I did have a sneaky look the night before and quickly scanned the posts for the people I know most. Naughty naughty me!

    xx

Aw Mrs Lunney2b did you never find Christmas/Birthday presents, open them but pretend you didn't! So you can read the thread but you need to lie and say you didn't!

I'm so not a good girl when it comes to surprises.

I didn't know this "rule" either. not being rude....but....does it really matter that they've read it before their last day on here?!?! i certainly wouldn't tell someone off for reading my message before their last day, you can read it when you like it still holds the same best wishes!

and esp if they don't know when they will or won't be back on here again. also, if you say B2Bs aren't allowed to read the thread until it's complete - how do you know when it's complete????

anyway, just my 2 penneth. IMHO.

Complete as in 'the night before the wedding'. Hell, some even add on the day, its really no biggie....

you do realise I'm not being serious, dont you? Tis just a Hitched tradition, and in the past some threads have also read 'Dont open until....or 'teehee, keep out......'

Just the way its been and like a sixpence, some traditions are there to be kept I think Smiley smile

Nope me neither....oh apart from the year I was caught out after opening all the presents...for my brother! I was wondering why all the jumpers were horrible colours and was getting most disappointed but not as disappointed as I was having to confess to sins. I was told that I either owned up and told the truth or I wouldn't be getting any presents and that was one threat Santa would have kept.

Ha just seen this, I know of the 'rule' but I will definitely be peeking at my good luck thread in advance, I guess I am just one of the rebels of Hitched ?

*slaps own wrist* naughty me. Although it is an unwritten rule & seeing as I'd not seen that many Good Luck threads that had 'don't read this' in the title... I guessed I was allowed to read what was being written about me! ?
