    Left to do:

Wedding - stationery, menu choices, all the booze to decide on and buy, evening entertainment, travel, rings, usher & BM outfits, shoes/jewellery/hair&make up for bridesmaids, pay outstanding balances for church & reception, hymn/reading choices, choir choices.

Me - hair and make up, dress to be made & fittings, jewellery, underwear.

    Mr CB - outfit.

Not sure what else, really. It all seems a bit of a blur. I was nice and calm until yesterday!

We I had exactly the same moment at work on Thursday. I suddenly realised that we were at the 6 months mark, mid conversation, and apparently went a funny shade of grey!?

It certainly has flown, we were at the 12 month mark pretty much, when we booked it and were struggling to get flights and hotels etc because we were too far in advance! Now look?

It'll be here before we know it?

I just hope that I get t'internet access, otherwise I'm not sure what I'm going to do without Hitched in the last few days?

I'm with Illi. If you need a hand choosing the booze I'm happy to volunteer my services! Also, have you looked at Flo & Percy/ Magpie Vintage for jewellery? x

Very fab, but yes, very very pricey! Oh dear! That head piece would go perfectly with my dress as the dress has tiny little flower embellishments on the bust and down the back. Hummmm.........................

I'd take the picture to a local designer and they could probably make something similar for you for half the price if not less.

Ha ha ha, thanks for the 'get cracking' advice, Claire!

Right, I do need a tiara. I want a side one. I want pearls and sparkles. I want something vintage looking. I the the ones you have suggested and also like the sort of things in Debbie Graham's. Link me up to some pretties, please lovely ladies.

Claire - that little beauty would set me back £320. I suppose I'm not having a veil, although I bet those are cheaper!

    Spangles - that's a very good idea.

I prefer the bottom pics, Ili. Only problem is I have a bit of a peanut head. Yep, this ferocious legal mind is incased within a teeny head! In view of that I will need something a little smaller.

Are we talking this sort of size?

Apparently I have a large head - tried on MIL's wig on yesterday, but couldn't get it on (she does have a small head). I like to think it is all brain! Ha ha.

CB 6 months to go wow thats flown by.

Now firstly don't panic, you have pleanty of time (my to do list was longer than that with a month to go so in my world you are organised)

Secondly I suggest a sneaky peak on the glass oyster website for headwear

    example photos below.

Lisaloulou (louloubelle designs) made me some lovely bridal jewellery so might be worth having a chat with her to (she has a great sneak peak on her facebook page of 2011 stuff)

I don't want to post her photos as I'm sure she will do that herself but facebook page is

    http://www.facebook.com/louloubelledesigns?ref=mf#!/louloubelledesigns

    and her website is

    http://www.louloubelle.co.uk/

I can't find many that size size with pearls. Anyone else recommend other designers??

She's doing well actually. She is feeling better following her first chemo session than she did prior to it. She has more flexibility and is finding it easier to move around. I'm hoping that means chemo is having a positive effect on her lupus, rather than making is worse (it was 50/50 as to which way it would go).

They are lovely Drifter. I was also thinking Lou Lou Belle Designs or Lynsey's Designs would be a good shout.

Trickers, I e-mailed your make up lady last week but no response. (Spangles, I tried Jenny but she can't do it, boo).

    Hello!

Thanks very much for the rec Drifter!

As Drifter mentioned, I'm currently putting together a 2011 collection and there is a sneak preview of a couple of side tiaras on Facebook

If youd' like something bespoke designed for you working from pictures of your dress / hair style etc, that's no problem either, I'd be delighted to help.

Please let me know if I can help or if you'd like any further information.

Http://www.slap-artists.co.uk/ is Kit Hall's website. She also works with another MU artist called Sam White & they both do hair too. Bit on the pricier side, however I have seen her work and she really is top notch.

Has Jenny been able to recommend anyone she knows?

Hi CB, I am still here, feel free to send me an email about the head pieces.

I have not been around much recently as my poor nan is in hospital, there is nothing they can do for her anymore, so its a horrible waiting game now Smiley surprise(

She is 95 yrs old & is an amazing lady, I just hate to see here suffering so much

I really really love that too. It's gorgeous.

ETA - Is it a comb rather than a tiara?
