Hiya

went to our marriage preperation course today, as ours is done in one day I know some have several evening claases but i thought the principal be the same

It as actually pretty good I really enjoyed it especially the afternoon as we went to the church and went through the service and have a programme with the vows in and hyms etc different readings etc it was really good

the morning consisted of a power point presenation on the meaning of you vows, then a questionarre about each other lol, then meeting marriage councellors which actually helped me identify where I go wrong in arguements etc

Meet some lovely couples as well, so all in it was good just incase anyone wanted a insight lol or if u been to yours how did it go xxxx

Glad you enjoyed it and that it was useful. We're having marriage preparation lessons once a month leading up to the wedding. I know a lot of people think it's a waste of time but I'm really enjoying ours! It's interesting pre-marriage counseling, and you're right it definitely tells you where you're going wrong in arguments (all good in my opinion)!

    xx

Aw I am glad that it was a good day.

I am annoyed that ours in a few nights rather than one day. As me and h2b both legally "live" at home and hence can get married in the church we have chosen, we both work away - him 270 miles north of home at any army camp and me 120 miles south of home at my companies national training centre, so for us both to get there we will be clocking up 780 miles each night - total nightmare!!
