Got my first RSVP this morning!!

Nothing more exciting than the title suggests i'm afraid but I was just really excited and wanted to share

Lots of people have called or text to say they are definately coming but its just not the same as a real life, paper RSVP!! I will be stressing over seating plans in no time....wooop

Totally self indulgent post and no need to reply just wanted to vent some excitement as I am currently at work and my colleagues just dont 'get' my little wedding outbursts!! ?

    Its so exciting to get RSVP's through, I think only those getting married (or are married) really understand this feeling. Mine have now been out a few weeks now & I have 3 replies so far but am excited everyday to look through the post.

    Moya, I bet you have lots back now dont you? How you getting on with things? I feel like I dont really have much to do at the minute, got a couple of BM and FG dress issues but nothing that cant be sorted and apart from them I am feeling mega organised. I keep thinking that I have forgotten something REALLY obvious and any day now I am just going to be like 'Oh my god!!'

    Meeting with the venue tonight to decide on Menu and talk numbers etc - its getting real now!

    You're soo organised Trickers!! I think I will turn into a crazy RSVP chaser after a couple of weeks!!

    Yay!

    We sent ours a little bit in stages just because we handed some of them out. As of last week all the day ones had gone though, and we already have 7 RSVPs! It's really fun seeing everyone's menu options too - sounds really sad but it is! ?

    Haven't had 1 refusal yet and it looks unlikely...could be a packed ceremony! Gulp ?

    Think we might have a couple of declines but they are the people we were kind of in two minds about inviting anyway (OH's immediate faimily that he doesnt see very often that I have never even met!) so its looking good so far!

    Friends keep texting me saying how excited they are and that they are definately coming but I am making them send the cards back...how sad! haha

    I think i'll be the same, lol, I'm a sentimental old fool and i'll keep all the rsvp's so i'd want one from everybody, even my parents, lol!!

    I know exactly what you mean, I am exactly the same.

    We went round to give OH's parents their invite personally and his Mum said 'Do I even need an invite?'!!!I was like 'erm, yes and I expect an RSVP too.' She laughed so I dont think she got that I was being deadly serious...ha!

    I did the same... I told them unless I had a real RSVP I wouldn't save them a seat! I got one! Smiley laugh
