Just a quick self-indulgent post to say that after 4+ long years of hard work I had my viva last week and passed with just a month of minor corrections, most of which I've finished already ?

I'm so very happy and would like to thank Hitched for helping me retain sanity and reason and giving me many opportunities for procrastination (maybe I would have finished earlier without it though ?).

<musing>Maybe I should add Dr to my username? </musing>

Ps. Apologies for the over-use of !!!, I'm still very bouncy.

Congratulations, it is such an achievement. especially to just get one month of minor corrections to do.

this coming from someone who doesn't post much, but has just got major corrections from my viva. was totally fair enough for me. i actually had 2 children during my writing up period (why oh why couldn't i have waited ?) and did a lot of it whilst breastfeeding/bouncing a baby on my knee/being very sleep deprived. i can't believe i managed to submit at all.

enjoy the freedom and the light feeling on your shoulders.
