Hi everyone!

Got my wedding dress of the rail for a good price, so had to get it as didnt want someone else to get the bargain!

Picked dress up yesterday!!!!! Eeeeekkkkk! Was mega excited.

Trouble is now ive got it hanging up at home and have got to try not to keep looking at it for a year Smiley sad I know I could of left it in the shop but you hear all these horror stories.

Haha. I'd be trying mine on all the time if mine was at home.

You didn't get yours in the berketex sale did you?

I got mine months ago in a sale but have left it in the shop. It needs some alterations before my wedding anyway which the shop's seamstress will do. I've paid outright for my dress though so even if the shop goes in to administration there won't be an issue.

I have mine at home too, it was a case of buy it or miss out. It's currently hanging in a dress bag on the front of my closet door. I'm not worried about it in the least, I know OH won't peek because he's shown himself to be a bit traditional and terrified of the bad luck if he sees it. I have been having the odd sneaky peek myself to cheer myself up now and again but so far I've resisted trying it on again. Mum's offered to take it to her house for safekeeping once I've matched up a sash and shoes but I might just keep it at mine because it makes me smile when I see it ?.

I'd use it as excuse to try it on constantly & prance about like a deer looking in the mirror!

And also maybe a few flashes? Smiley winking

Haha I wouldn't cope with that at all! Would constantly be getting it out to look at it/try it on!

I was expecting bad news when I opened this, so pleased it wasn't. I would get someone else to have it for you if you can too tempting otherwise

I'm in the same situation, except my dress (lace) can't be let out at all so I can't gain *any* weight over the next 11 months.. it fits like a glove. No pressure..

I left mine at my Mums house - then I wasn't tempted to keep trying it on. Though I did peek at it if I 'just happened' to be in the spare room Smiley laugh

Haha I gave in and had a little twirl earlier, I justified it by telling myself I need to do it to see what kind of sash I'm looking for ?.

Oooh, exciting that you have your dress!!

I need to get a wriggle on with dress shopping...only 8 months to go and I've not even stepped foot in a bridal shop yet!! I'm really obsessive over things (in a totally non weird way) and would have to keep mine at home too...just so I can check on it from time to time and have impromptu fittings whenever I fancied! :-)

I've left mine at the shop. H2B would come home to find me mopping the kitchen floor in it otherwise.

Mine has been at home with me for a while now but not long after I brought it home I thought I'd have a sneaky look at it so I took it out of its bag.... because the ladies in the shop had always helped me in and out I had never realised how heavy or big it was so ended up struggling to hold it and I could not for the life of me get it back in its bag... major drama and will never take it out unaccompanied again!! Smiley laugh xx

I would say leave it somewhere where it won't get damaged and out of your house! Mums or a siblings maybe?
