The car Smiley surprise( its too unique to be able to get another one.

My friend has a car for the back up but with the money being saved I could have got this car for the day, but now its gone.. (goes off quietly to sob in the corner..)

Karen I was seriously worried for you there - thought you were talking about the dress!!! phew!

its a real shame - but how many of your guests will see you arriving in the car? its only for a few minutes, isn't it? I hope you find another one you like, even if its not the ideal.

Smiley surprise? our church doesnt really show the car so i guess it wont be the end of the world. Was just a pleasant suprise to have to funds free for the car then find out i cant get it anyway... still things happen for a reason dont they?

Ive contacted another company but they are in bedford so probably wont come down to kent.

The roof of this other one is burgandy and i think it might clash with my colours (also burgandy)

Good Luck K - you do have 10 months still - maybe put in a stand-by booking for the original car you wanted, you never know there may be a cancellation...? (not that I would wish that on anyone, if it's for another wedding).

Thats a shame about the car but totally brill about the dress!!!! As the others said, the car is only for a few minutes but the dress will be on you all day.

You'll be able to get another car which will also be fab - it just won't be the one you've set your heart on. Its tough but try not to get too upset - just remember the gorgeous dress......at 30% off!!!!!! Well done!!!!

    That's what ive done.

I mailed the lady asking if she gets a cancellation if its possible to call me and I will take the car.

I guess it wasnt meant to be.. things happen fro a reason I guess...

Thats a shame, but had the dress not been in the sale you wouldnt have been able to have the car anyway, so I would just celebrate the fact you saved a whopping 30%!! Have you ordered your dress now then?

    What was the car anyway?

It was a lovely mini limo!! my fav car (have one in the garage in pieces and one as an everyday car).

In hindsight with it being blue and my colour scheme burgandy there was a risk of it being West ham colours LOl!!
