Greetings from the darkside >> M&S cake help!

slightlymad, 24 July, 2011 at 00:22 Posted on Planning 0 5

I have been beamed down from the land of baby talk by Lynsey and someone else but I don't know her username.....

I need help with an M&S cake. I need to know how to stack it. Is it to 'thin' to be stacked on top of each other without using pillars or a separate stand? Any ideas on how I can decorate it without it looking like this

Thanks in advance

Thankyou clarelou. I am going to have a 2nd attempt at making a topper out of wires and butterflies, my first attempt would have looked quite good on the cake above. I think the cakes are quite thin so I am not sure whether stacking them on top of each other would work, it may end up looking like a cake thats been sat on....

I am sorry for stealing your pics, it's not that bad you could stick some flowers on top and it would make the cake look soooo much better, maybe put some ribbon around the bottom? nice colours on it, vry creative.

If you want to stack on top of one another you will need to remove the boards and use dowels... there are how to videos on the M&S site.
