grrrrr - blooming suit hire mess up!

Must be the day for it BB. We've been to get ours today and have the final fitting and my son's suit was cocked up and my Dad's didn't fit, but I suspect that's partly my Dad's fault.

Nowhere near as bad as yours. Hope they do get it sorted quickly for you. Try not to stress too much about it.

You didn't order it from Suits You did you, I am so worried about ours after they seem to have done nothing but annoy me so far

(am sure it is not all SY stores, just the numpty that seems to keep serving us)

We had a shocker with Debenham's suit hire. Really unimpressed with them, but fortunately all is now sorted, we have all 5 suits and they fit and match, ready for my wedding tomorrow.

Unfortunately, it was suits you - (youngs suit hire). Saying that though, a friend of ours got married in May and used them and had no problems what so ever. They can do things right sometimes!

I am really sorry to hear about your problems. I hope you can get things sorted out.

I worked with Youngs (Speciality Retail Group) some years ago and they have made some steady progress in improving service and quality in recent years. However I have recently discovered that the company has new owners who are not as committed to quality as the previous (family) owners. So maybe this ahs played its part? I am only speculating obviously.

If you need any assistance in putting things correct, I would be happy to help in anyway I can. However I am extemely busy at the moment so there may be a limit to what I can actually do. But I will certainly try my best.

I am sure you will get it sorted, I too went with them as a friend had had no problems whatsoever, the service definitely seems to vary from store to store though, I am even debating on changing our store if we can as the man was rude, unfortunately for him the day that he was rude was the same day I seemed to turn into a bridezilla and I stood up for myself.

My stepdad was measured the other day and he measured at a 40 reg in the tails, they then gave him a 38 to try on, he said it was a bit snug and they said right its the 40 for you then .. erm ok, as that is what is measured at surely that would be the one to try on ...no! I ended up going and getting it off the rack for him to try and the SY man had gone off to serve somebody else!!

Grr, sorry, that turned into a bit of a rant from me.
