Hitchers, it happened! She proposed on Friday and we are absolutely over the moon. Unbearably romantic, too 
It was a normal day. I picked her up from work and we went shopping; I was a bit grumpy cos I had a headache. Later that evening, we put DS to bed and she went out for a run as usual and I did the washing up. Half an hour later, she called me and in a very serious voice told me to watch the video she had just emailed me.
I sat down with my heart pounding in my chest. It was a video she had
made full of photos of us saying how much she loved me. It ended by
saying "I know I've asked a lot of you, but I've got one more thing to
ask... Look outside our bedroom window..." I ran to the window and all I
could see were soooo many candles, spelling out -i love you- in these
gorgeous bags (Greys Anatomy style ♥). I zoomed downstairs and outside and there
she was, frozen! And she pointed to the box in the middle of the garden and asked me to marry her.

We actually picked out our 'dream rings' at F.Hinds a while ago. Then we chose cheaper, much more realistically affordable ones. This is the DREAM ring!!! Hurrah! I'm buying her a matching one in January.
We had a lovely December 1st celebrating just the three of us, putting up christmas decorations and wearing daft christmas jumpers!!
