Guest name help!

NikiST, 27 March, 2011 at 19:14 Posted on Planning 0 1

I was just going through my guest list with the intention of making a start on my table planner.. when I realised I have no idea some of the children's surnames because they have different fathers to their Mums current partner, etc.. there are no duplicate children's names though, is it a good idea just to put first names for children on the table planner board? Or should I just make the effort to find out their surnames? It's an informal wedding anyway, we only had first names on the invites.

I think first names will be fine, I think unless there are duplicate names on each of my tables Im not gonna bother putting anyones surname but then we are quite an informal family! Also if the children are sat with parents theywill know who you mean! also as another idea... you could put little miss and mr at the beginning of their name..eg. Little miss Bethany. hth x

Ahh Kitty I like that idea for the younger ones. But I'll probably just stick to first names for children. Adults I'll have first and surnames as I have two Marks on one table and two Tracey's on another!
